Jaure JFTL Friction Torque Limiters were initially developed for wind turbines to protect drivetrains from peak torques caused by generator short circuits. Over time, their application has expanded to industries like cooling towers. These torque limiters are factory-assembled and calibrated to the required slipping torque, ensuring high accuracy within ±10% and excellent repeatability for up to 2,000 slipping events.

With automatic re-engagement and rigorous testing by Jaure before shipment, they deliver reliable performance and robust protection for critical machinery.
