The Metraflex FireStrait Flexible Connector is designed to compensate for pipe offsets and lateral movement throughout fire sprinkler systems. Using the same proven flexible technology as the Fireloop seismic expansion joint, it easily handles offsets from minor vibrations up to large mechanical movements of ±60 inches.
FireStrait simplifies installation by accommodating pipe offsets from 0 to 180 degrees, reducing labor and the need for custom fittings. It is available in grooved, flanged, or threaded end fittings from ½ inch to 12 inches, with galvanized options available upon request.
