The Rexnord Autogard 100 Series Torque Limiter serves as a versatile torque overload safeguard, delivering cost-effective and dependable protection for industrial machinery. It incorporates a mechanism that effectively disengages a mechanical drive once a predetermined torque threshold is surpassed, automatically restoring it to the same position after the overload issue is resolved. Detection of torque overload-induced disconnection can be achieved using a proximity sensor.
Rexnord Autogard 100 Series Torque Limiters are available in two configurations: Model 103, suitable for chain and belt drives with the addition of a sprocket or pulley, and Model 106, designed for shaft-to-shaft applications and includes a standard flexible jaw coupling.
