Shaft couplings serve to link two shafts in alignment and transfer power between them. Royersford's rigid couplings establish a fixed connection between shafts where misalignment is absent, while specialized couplings can accommodate shafts of varying diameters. Crafted from high-strength grey iron, these couplings can effectively transmit the rated load capacities of C1018 commercial shafting.

Each coupling undergoes precision machining to ensure proper balance, with bolt heads and nuts shielded by flanges or ribs for safety. Keys are provided for all couplings, and it's recommended to position bearings as close as possible to the couplings for optimal performance.
