Double Pitch Roller Chains

According to ISO 1275, double-pitch roller chains consist of the round parts (pins, bushes, rollers) used for simplex roller chains according to ISO 606 and double-pitched plates. Our double-pitch roller chains, in a stainless steel design, can also be supplied as maintenance-free Marathon chains, with bent attachments, straight attachments, and extended pins. Special designs according to customers' requirements are also available.

Due to the lower number of chain joints, chain wear elongation occurs faster with double-pitch roller chains than with single-pitch chains.

The standard sprockets for roller chains, according to ISO 606, cannot be used for double-pitch roller chains (see sprockets for double-pitch roller chains).
