TL42 S14M 80 STD Timing Pulleys
TL42-S14M-80 TL TB super torque drive timing pulleys that are used on chain drives depend on a number of factors such as center distances, availability of space, ratios, horsepower being transmitted, speeds and user preference of mounting systems. When speaking about gear or chain drives, circular pitch is a fundamental consideration.
On the belt, pitch is the distance between tooth centers and is measured on the pitch line of the belt. On the pulley, pitch is the distance between groove centers and is measured on the pulley’s pitch curve.
The pitch line of a drive belt is located within the tension number. The pitch circle of this timing belt pulley coincides with the pitch line of the belt mating with it. Any classical timing belt must be run with pulleys of the same pitch. A belt of one pitch cannot be successfully used with pulleys of different pitch.
