The S5868FS3 optical absolute encoders are built upon Kübler's cutting-edge Industrial Ethernet encoder platform, making them well-suited for upcoming Industry 4.0 paradigms. These encoders, certified for SIL3 / PLe applications, boast a redundant design and a PROFINET interface that supports the PROFIsafe profile, making them ideal for safety-critical tasks. Featuring redundant sensors, high precision, and a compact dimension of Ø 58 mm, these encoders offer a 24-bit single-turn resolution, 12 bits muti-turn, and accommodate shafts up to 12 mm with either a flat surface or a feather key, or up to 3/8" with the same options.
