Aseptic Drives by Bauer Gear Motor

The Bauer AsepticDrive combines a motor with a smooth surface (without cooling ribs and fan) and a gearbox from the renowned Bauer 2000 range. The AsepticDrive has a standard stainless steel round connector which allows a quick and straightforward electrical connection of the motor. This connector contains the motor contacts and those of the thermistors.
The AsepticDrive can be easily fitted onto any gear drive in the BG, BF, BK, or BS series, catering to most design requirements.
Hygiene and cleaning requirements are crucial factors in food and beverage production. Most equipment and production machines are made of stainless steel, permitting thorough cleaning once production has ended. Stainless steel also allows using acid or alkali-based cleaning agents, which, combined with disinfectants, ensure that all relevant germs and bacteria are destroyed.
The Bauer 2000 series of aseptic geared motors met these requirements, at least concerning the housing, as their basic structure is already as smooth and beveled as possible. This makes cleaning easy and allows liquid residues to drain off completely.
